Car dealerships are the reason we keep our vehicles for so long. The thought of going to a dealership to buy a car literally makes me sick. I'm getting older so I have no patience with these little punks trying to push their crap on me. They sound ridiculous and no one in their right mind would believe a word coming out of their mouth

  3. Mark James Hill says:

dude your so honest. an honest car mechanic whaaaat? its so appreciated. I live in Japan. doen commercial as a model for Lexus and Toyota and dont even own a car!!! lol 😃🤣 but I still watch your videos. great production value.

  4. baylessnow says:

If the U.S. had something like the U.K. annual vehicle inspection, (M.O.T.) this $400 inspection would pretty much be pointless and highlighted as the scam it is. Also, people who start their cars up and leave them sitting on the drive running just to warm them up really p!ss me off! I used to live close to a bloke who was almost deaf and he had a Vauxhall Chevette with the 1256cc engine. Not the quietest of engines as they rattle like a babies toy if they're not maintained. He would sit in his car at 7am every winter morning and rev the bollocks (balls) out of that poor little engine, waking the neighbours in the process, until his heater had warmed up! The best way to warm an engine is to start it up and start driving it!

  5. Common Scents says:

they're a great company but they're 200 billion in debt so it looks like they'll have to liquidate and sell everything at a discount to tesla

  6. Steven Horwood says:

Chevy does similar or sort of, I called 3 dealers, and all had various closing costs if I wanted to buy at end of lease. First one wanted $2000 to handle closing cost, second dealer wanted $1000, and third one wanted $ 300.00. That is for the paper work to buy at end of lease. Shop around.

  7. The real Ms. Dee says:

I’m currently looking for a personal Toyota mechanic for my 2017 Rav4. I’m tried of The dealership ripping me off. When I go for my scheduled maintenance, they always suggest other work that’s not in my maintenance book for the mileage maintenance in question and I usually pay the additional amount but not anymore. I don’t even drive my car a lot. It’s only at 36,000 miles. Also I brought an extended warranty and found out later that if I use it at another Toyota dealership other than where I purchased the warranty, I will have to pay $100 out of pocket upfront.

  8. BeKO says:

Scotty…love you bro! Thank you for your tips. Will definitely spread the word and get more subscribers…good tips and no nonsense guidance.

  9. Gary Rogers says:

Scotty, the inspection fee might be needed for making the vehicle a certified Toyota vehicle. A certified Toyota gives you additional basic and powertrain warranty coverage beyond the new vehicle factory warranty.

  10. outwiththem says:

That Scam most be from the NY, PA or New Jersey Italian dealerships. They love to scam pendejo americans.

  11. Ed Cipriani says:

What a bunch of crap, for Toyota to try to make this guy pay $400 who is trying to buy this car which he has leased.

  12. CG Max says:

Scotty… you're going to have to change your beginning soundtrack to "rev up your motors" soon with these nutty liberals ruining the country 😒

  13. SDS Smith says:

My son ended up dealing with the lean holder and paid it off. His Buick dealer wanted $2100. More. That's why he just paid it to the lean holder

  14. Mark T. says:

Scotty is spot on, dealerships are always coming up with scams to steal from their customers. It's legal, so, buy a used car from the owner. I know 'cause I worked for one of these lousy companies.

  15. Paul Bunce says:

Well, I've just parted ways with Peugeot. I've been a Chrysler customer since 1970. Currently own 5 minivans and 5 RAM diesels. Still have a 73 Valiant slant 6 which had 408,000 miles when we parked it in favor of a minivan. Still have a 67 Dart in storage. 87 Caravan 3.0 in storage.
At 180K my 09 Town & Country Limited started going into limp home (transmission) and throwing codes. Lifetime power train warranty was standard in 09. Local dealer had reman transmission in stock, 11 hour flat rate R&R. I should have had the car back the next day, repaired. Zone rep had to check it first to authorize repair Only took him a couple of weeks to show up and deny reman. Insisted that had to be dealer rebuild. Rep would not meet with me, would not allow me to have his phone number or email. Local large dealer didn't have tech certified to rebuild. Tech shuffled me to another dealer and back TWICE for 5 MONTHS before I finally found a third dealer with certified tech and got it fixed in two weeks. Three letters to chair woman of Chrysler went unanswered. No contact number or email for chairwoman, had to snail mail. I was in constant contact with "Chrysler customer care" throughout. Completely unacceptable behavior. I did suggest that the zone rep be fired, but that first they give him two salesman of the month awards. One for selling and F250 and one for selling a Honda Odyssey. There is no Chrysler now. It's Stellantis, a company based in Holland and controlled by Peugeot. I've caused at least 15 other people to buy Chrysler products over the years. I will no longer purchase or recommend a Chrysler vehicle as long as Peugeot is in control.

  16. tlake says:

Watch out- dealer sent us into the finance additional fees interrogations room after we settled on a price. Extra warranty…..wife said ohhhh the warranty you’re giving us is bad.” Guys face was priceless, then he was pissed. What started as a nice car buy experience turned into us not being able to get outta there fast enough. Have a strategy when you enter this room. Act like you’re getting work call or better yet – have someone call you lol

  17. Alex Solano says:

Why is he dealing with the dealer? His contract is with Toyota Financial. When the lease is about to end he needs to notify the leasing company that he intends to buy the vehicle (usually 30 days before his last payment is due) and then the dealer is out of the picture. Could it be that he missed his window to exercise the purchase option?

  18. William Spinney says:

I was going to buy a RAV 4 Prime and they said I had to pay $5000.00 over MSRP F.U. Bernardi Framingham!

  19. King Ming says:

Between Porsche, Merc and BMW. I would honestly go Porsche first, BMW 2nd and Merc 3rd. In terms of reliability and Customer service. Merc has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service out of all 3. Porsche has the best by far and reliability. with BMW the customer service is terrible, but the BMW m235 I've had for 6 yrs and I have had 0 issues.

  20. Me Me says:

I always thought toyota was reliable till my 5.7 tundra rod bearing went last week ,always used amsoil and changed every 5k. Back to chevy for me

  21. Dave Barron says:

Same as bureaucrats, only difference is with the car company you actually GET something, waste of money but something.
